A classic fantasy / romance / adventure / spoof. Filled with some of the best one-liners such as "inconceivable," and "...you killed my father, prepare to die."This is a movie that chalks one up to the power of true love. It has everything one needs: action, adventure, sword fighting, a giant, and of course the love of the masked man and Buttercup.
My wife hates this movie, which may suggest that this movie is not for everyone, or that she does not appreciate the artistic qualities of a movie that can weave together swamp rats, and wedding ceremonies in the same film.
